Final assembly and test area for some production line assembly AGVs currently under contract.  This is part of Doerfer Companies’ custom design AGV capability.  These robust heavy-duty automatic guided vehicles are built to a 5:1 safety factor.  They carry one portion of the product component on a vertical lifting turntable as an ergonomic assembly platform, while the mating portion of the product is carried on the tower assembly.  Doerfer specializes in providing automated systems that are custom designed from the ground up to meet ALL of the customer’s requirements, rather than follow industry’s typical response of furnishing a modified version of a standard proprietary design.
